Just Above the Streets

In the early days of the pandemic, while quarantined in my small Brooklyn apartment, I found that street photography had to be redefined as my connection to the streets was now from my fire escape. I felt like a child on a jungle gym, although my playground was outside my four-story walk-up. This image is inspired by Blumenfeld's 1939 photograph of Lisa Fonssagrives on the Eiffel Tower.
